I create photographs that explore ideas about beauty, perspective, and the nature of being. I find myself drawn to a graphic style in photography, and I am continuously experimenting with new and innovative ways to light my subjects.
My goal is to create images that I find aesthetically pleasing while challenging myself and enjoying the process. I like to make photographs with an end goal in mind, achieving as much as I can with the camera, the rest with post-production techniques. For me, photography is an act of perpetual discovery.
I draw inspiration from photographers (both past and present), painters, sculptors, writers, my family, and nature. I am currently a member of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association and the Marblehead Art Association. I live and work in Salem Massachusetts with my wife and children.
